We can't thank our members enough for the
kind support and help in making this project
move toward completion a lot fast than
originally thought.
An idea was born to create a Mobile
BBQ Trailer to help raise money for
Lodge repairs and improvement
projects. It was taken on by the Fellows
with Larry Salem and Bill Thompson
co-chairing the project.
What a year it has been for the Moose BBQ trailer and do we ever have a lot to be thankful for! We started out with a
concept that had been talked about for years. So Larry and Bill took the idea approved by the Fellows and the board of
officers and started turning it into reality as the project Chairmen. We received so much help it is just amazing. We had
awesome donations of a frame, time, money and equipment to bring it to where it is today and a shop to do most of the
work in. We are so thankful for our members generosity. We have used it multiple times at things like the Lodge Moose
picnic, District camp out and Legion picnic. It all we have cooked 47 meals so far and counting. We have two ovens, 8
burners, a griddle, grill, freezer, prep table, solar and lots more. We have added lots of pots, pans and the like to make it
more self sufficient with donations from phenomenal members. It's it street legal and has electric brakes. We still work
on it to make improvements as each time it's used we think of more things to make it better and serve a better product.
We can't thank our members enough for the time, energy and support to see the Moose mobile BBQ project through to
where it is today. So thank you, thank you, thank you!
